Melanie Andrews is a Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Million-Air Award winner, recognized for (co-writing) over one million broadcast performances. She is also a BMI Gold Star Member, a rare distinction honoring outstanding professional achievement and music industry contribution. A Multi-Platinum songwriter, Billboard #1-charted songwriter/background vocalist, and acclaimed vocal coach, Melanie is also the music director at AudioVision-Music. Her co-writes and background vocals have contributed to records that have sold over 13 million copies worldwide. She has collaborated with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame artists, including Janet Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, and 10-time Grammy Award-winning a cappella vocal group “TAKE 6”, to name a few. Melanie is equally known for discovering and developing new breakout artists across pop, R&B, jazz, and youth artist development. For over two decades, Melanie has coached thousands of vocalists through her artist development studios in Los Angeles and Orange County, guiding them from vocal warmups to sold-out stages. She regularly speaks at major institutions including UCLA and Musicians Institute, and has served on national music education panels. She is also the President of the Snooky Young Foundation of the Arts, named in honor of her grandfather, NEA Jazz Master Snooky Young, who taught her the beauty of “speaking through music. Melanie’s first solo artist smooth jazz/R&B album, “SOULMATE LIVE” is out now on all platforms, featuring some of the BIGGEST Jazz/R&B musicians in the industry including, 10 Time Grammy Winning Group “TAKE 6”. Her new podcast, The Rhythmic Blueprint, explores the soul of music through real conversations with top-tier artists, producers, and creatives—diving into the spiritual, emotional, and practical rhythms that shape authentic success in today’s music industry. Melanie’s path into the spotlight began early—at just six months old, she became the first-ever African-American Gerber baby featured in national advertising campaigns, a symbol of history in the making. AudioVision PS was designed and founded by senior sound engineer Bill Trousdale. Bill has been involved with nearly all aspects of professional audio for nearly 50 years. He started his career in airline audio entertainment and branched into complete audio production, studio acoustic and technical design, live event sound design and staging. Recent projects include highly sucessful direct response television programs and award winning feature films. Bill is also an active member of CAS (Cinema Audio Society)
